Following the expected Supreme Court ruling on marriage, we will hear from Carol Ann Fey, certified specialist in Ohio Family Relations Law, who has been recognized for her work in LGBT family law.
We will also hear from Michael Adee, director of the Global Faith and Justice Project of the Horizons Foundation, San Francisco. Michael will be discussing with us the global export of homophobia and our faith response.
GLAD’s Pre-event will be located at the Columbus Convention Center, July 18, 2015. Cost will be approximately $50, breakfast and lunch included. Scholarships will be available.
Banquet
The GLAD Alliance Banquet will feature keynote speaker Rev. Sandhya Jha who describes herself as “Wonk, Activist, and Abettor of Hope.”
The banquet will be held at the Hyatt Regency Columbus on Monday, July 20 from 5:15pm-6:45pm. Tickets are $34 and can be bought with your General Assembly registration.

At the booth the Open & Affirming Ministry Program will offer workshops on why it’s important for churches to be openly welcoming of LGBT people and trainings on how to open a church to more welcome and become Open & Affirming. These workshops will be offered throughout the day along with videos on welcome and justice.
