Welcome Training Coming to the Great Plains

Building an Inclusive Church training workshops are coming soon to Lawrence KS, Sioux Falls SD, and Lincoln NE.

Building An Inclusive Church: A Welcoming Toolkit is the material developed by the ecumenical Institute for Welcoming Resources to guide a congregation through an Open & Affirming process. Containing the wisdom of decades of welcoming work, the Toolkit guides a small leadership group through congregational assessment, community building, and planning, always with a foundation in graceful engagement, to design a process that opens up welcome and affirmation in the whole congregation.

Building an Inclusive Church Training will hone your skills and give you knowledge about how to guide your congregation through those tough conversations toward a more fully inclusive church. The training is an in-depth hands-on look at the tools and process in the Toolkit.
