Open Call for Speakers + Preachers
What’s your perspective? There is an open call for speakers and preachers – for you! – to speak to a contemporary issue and the themes of Affirmation, Love, and Liberation. Who? Me?
Each month will feature an LGBTQ+ minister, seminarian, or faith leader. Identifying as queer or an ally, each speaker brings a new lens to scripture. Unlike the previous years’ correspondence with the lectionary, speakers will select a text to engage contemporary issues and the themes of affirmation, love, and liberation.
Speakers record a scripture reading, reflection (message/sermon), prayer, and conversation starters/calls to action.
Submissions will be considered on a rolling basis but we’re eager to fill the schedule with dynamic voices who will help build the kindom by sharing affirmation, love, and liberation for ALL. Send questions to melissa@disciplesallianceq.org
