GLAD Co-Sponsors The National Weekend of Prayer for Transgender Justice

GLAD Alliance has signed on with The Religious Institute as a co-sponsor of The National Weekend of Prayer for Transgender Justice.

On March 28th, the Supreme Court will hear the case Gloucester County School Board v. GG, the first-ever case on transgender rights to go before the Supreme Court.

On March 24th-26th, the weekend before the case, faith communities are coming together to observe a National Weekend of Prayer for Transgender Justice. During the Weekend of Prayer, faith communities across the country will support and pray for Gavin, the transgender community, and the Supreme Court justices before they consider this historic case.

This is an also time for faith communities to honor the gifts of transgender people and to make or renew commitments to working for transgender justice.
