Upcoming Events for LGBT Christians and Allies

Do you want to learn more about the Bible and LGBT issues? Do you want to know what it’s like to spend a weekend with hundreds of affirming and LGBT Christians in worship, study, and fellowship?  Do you want to know how to communicate your affirming faith to others?

Then one of these events might just be what you’re looking for.

The Reformation Project

The Reformation Project aims to equip those who want to be better advocates for LGBT Christians in their faith community. Founded by Matthew Vines, author of God and the Gay Christian, the Reformation Project is especially focused on learning how to engage in constructive dialog about the Bible with conservative and Evangelical Christians.

There are two events coming up this year:

Atlanta, GA
June 11-13, 2015

Kansas City
November 7-9, 2015

You can find out more about the Reformation Project and the conferences here.

Gay Christian Network

The Gay Christian Network hosts an annual conference every January.  GCN works to equip and educate lay people to advocate on behalf of the marginalized and oppressed.

The next GCN conference will be held in Houston, TX, January 7–10, 2016. You can see videos from this year’s conference and sign up for news about next year’s conference here.
