This year’s Easter Writing Project topic is “Why Should the Church Care About Marriage?”

Apparently, many in the church DO care about equal marriage: Methodist pastors are risking their careers in a system that forbids them to perform marriages for same sex couples, Disciples and GLAD members are deeply involved fighting an anti-same sex marriage amendment in Indiana, and Disciples same-sex couples are celebrating their weddings in Disciples congregations across the country.
