Interim Associate Minister called to serve with the Alliance

Interim Associate Minister called to serve with the Alliance

With joy and gratitude, we welcome Rev. Sara Nave-Fisher who will serve in an interim capacity during the bonding leave of our Executive Director + Minister.

The Interim Associate Minister is a temporary, part-time staff member called to:

  • sustain AllianceQ’s relationships with congregations and organizations with the Christian Church, ecumenical partners, and other justice-seeking organizations; and
  • maintain programs and operations by providing communication, resources, and pastoral presence.

Rev. Sara Nave-Fisher is a Disciples minister who has served all over the country in a variety of congregations and ministries. An alum of Lexington Theological Seminary, she is passionate about the local church, centering the values of incorporating kids & youth into whole-church ministry; affirming the gifts and goodness of all people – regardless of gender, gender identity, or orientation; and discerning ministry proactively, not reactively. Sara currently lives in Columbia, South Carolina, with her spouse Jonathan and their three kids.

From Sara: “The vital work of AllianceQ has helped me for many years as a pastor, a parent, and a person, and I look forward to partnering in this ministry this summer!”

Rev. Nave-Fisher will serve from approximately mid-May through July. She can be reached at interim@disciplesallianceq.org.

Our Moderator Rev. Luther Young, Jr., is also available at moderator@disciplesallianceq.org.
