Have You Registered for the Pre-Assembly Event and Banquet?

The GLAD Alliance Pre-Assembly Event and Banquet at the General Assembly in Columbus will be THE place to be!

The Pre-Assembly Event will focus on two issues and their intersections: the Supreme Court ruling on marriage equality and the American export of homophobia to Africa. Speakers include Carol Fey, a practicing attorney in the Columbus area where she is a recognized authority in LGBT family law, who will be with us to explain the upcoming Supreme Court Ruling on marriage equality, and Michael Adee, Director of the Global Faith and Justice Project of the Horizons Foundation, who will speak with us on the global export of homophobia. The event happens at the Columbus Convention Center Saturday July 18 from 8:30 am – 4:45 pm.

Sandhya Jha, Disciple, author, and one who works for the rights and dignity of all, describes herself as a “wonk, activist, and abettor of hope.” She will be with us at GLAD’s General Assembly Banquet to speak on intersections of justice and her work in India.
