GLAD Needs Your Support: Join Today!
The GLAD Alliance needs your support. It costs money to run events such as those in Houston and Kansas City reported in this issue of Crossbeams. Future plans include GLAD’s presence at the regional assemblies in Central Rocky Mountain Region and Northern California-Nevada Region, and at Women’s Quadrennial, National Convocation Biennial, NAPAD Convocation, and more.
The costs add up. Each of these events costs between $1,000 and $1,500 including time, transportation, and materials.
The GLAD Alliance is YOU! Are you a member? Does your congregation support GLAD through it’s outreach funding? The work of building a church that welcomes all to the table can only be accomplished with your participation.
Your membership contribution makes this work possible. Consider making a monthly or quarterly contribution to GLAD. Per month, $100 covers the cost of GLAD’s presence at an assembly or convocation, while $50 can cover the cost of travel and lodging for one event.

And there’s more you can do:
- Find out if your church is making a contribution to GLAD through its mission and outreach budget. If not, work with your pastor and elders to make this happen.
- Encourage your friends to join GLAD and contribute to this important ministry.
- Finally, and perhaps most important, pray for GLAD’s ministry, stay up-to-date by reading Crossbeams, and let us know how we can support welcome in your congregation and ministry.
With your participation we can build a church where all persons are welcome at God’s table.
