Campus Pride Shame List: The Absolute Worst Campuses for LGBTQ Youth

Campus Pride develops resources, programs and services to support LGBTQ and ally students on college campuses across the United States. It is a volunteer-driven network for and by student leaders working to create a safer college environment for LGBTQ students.

Campus Pride recently published the CampusPride Shame List: The Absolute Worst Campuses for LGBTQ Youth. The colleges & universities listed have chosen to discriminate openly against LGBTQ youth and have requested Title IX exemptions to perpetuate the harms of religion-based bigotry.

Why do we share this with you?

• Get to know Campus Pride and its resources. The young adults in your church can benefit from the resources Campus Pride offers.
• If you know young people considering one of these schools, share with them your concern about the campus and it’s leadership.
• Is your congregation located near one of these schools? All the more important that your witness to welcome be open and public. There may be many students at these schools who need your welcoming ministry.
