Call for Stories: How have you personally experienced God’s love in your life through an O&A Congregation?
Do you have a story to share? GLAD’s Easter Writing Project for 2015 is getting underway and we want to hear your story: How have you personally experienced the meaning of God’s love in your life through the inclusive welcome of an Open & Affirming Congregation?
Here is this year’s writing prompt.
The Lord is Risen! is the Easter Acclamation. In the 50 days of the Easter season the disciples and followers of Jesus began to realize just how much Jesus had changed their lives. We read stories in the Acts account of the Jewish and Gentile followers of Jesus learning what Jesus and his message of love meant to them.
And this year, for the Easter Writing Project, GLAD is gathering stories of what it means to experience Jesus’ inclusive love for all; the love, affirmation and acceptance that is the heart of being an Open & Affirming congregation.
This year’s Easter Writing Project writing prompt: How have you personally experienced the meaning of God’s love in your life through the inclusive welcome of an Open & Affirming Congregation?
Will you join the Easter Writing Project this year with a story of your personal experience?
