Building an Inclusive Church Workshops

Building an Inclusive Church Workshops

Building an Inclusive Church Workshops are for those who want to know more about how to lead a church further along the journey to welcome and affirmation.

Last weekend, 45 people gathered in the Capital Area at National City Christian Church to learn the skills and find the resources for this important work. Rev. Mark Johnston, Ph.D., was one of the lead trainers for the weekend. Check out the posts and pictures on GLAD’s Facebook page!

And coming up in a week, March 11-12, there will be another Building an Inclusive Church Workshop hosted by Johns Creek Christian Church just outside of Atlanta, GA. Disciples pastor Rev. Debra Peevey will co-lead this training along with Dr. Johnston.

Isn’t it time you had the tools and resources to build an inclusive church?

Information about the training at Johns Creek can be found here and information about an upcoming training, April 8-9, hosted by the United Church of Christ in New Hampshire can be found here.

Contact Mark Johnston at mark@gladalliance.org for late registration to the training at Johns Creek.
