Building an Inclusive Church Training coming to Cincinnati and Phoenix

Building an Inclusive Church Training coming to Cincinnati and Phoenix

“I hear it all the time!” says Mark Johnston, Executive Director of GLAD’s Open & Affirming Ministry Program. “People tell me ‘We’re not ready to become O&A.’ Of course, that’s what the Building an Inclusive Church Toolkit and the Trainings are for! To design a grace-filled process that builds welcoming community in any congregation.”

The Building an Inclusive Church Toolkit is the definitive guide to creating an Open & Affirming Process for your congregation.

And a Building an Inclusive Church Training will ground you in the tools and process found in the toolkit.

On October 21 & 22 a Building and Inclusive Church Training will be held in Phoenix, AZ, at Phoenix Central Community of Christ.

On Dec 9 & 10, Rev. Mark Johnston, Ph.D., Executive Director of GLAD’s Open & Affirming Ministry Program, along with Rev. Debra Peavey, Disciples pastor from Phoenix, AZ, and Lead Ecumenical Trainer for the National LGBTQ Task Force, will be on hand as part of the training team for a Building an Inclusive Church Training in Cincinnati, OH, at Carthage Christian Church.
