GLAD's Pastoral Care and Education Team
The GLAD Alliance is excited to announce its recent revival of the Pastoral Care and Education team. In pursuit of the GLAD Alliance’s mission, the Pastoral Care and Education team will provide spiritual leadership to the GLAD Alliance and its friends by:
- Responding with care to those who need assistance because of violence, harassment, or bullying as a result of their actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender expression.
- Providing timely educational resources to the Alliance and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) regarding the importance of setting a place at the Table for persons of all gender expressions and sexual orientations.
Ordained minister and chaplain, Erin McCreight has graciously and bravely taken on the role of leading this team. Erin grew up in the Disciples of Christ faith and is currently a lay leader at First Christian Church of Stow, Ohio. She received a B.A. in Sociology from Bowling Green State University in Ohio and completed a Master of Divinity at Vanderbilt University. Many thanks to Erin for her role in bringing this team back to life!
