A Building an Inclusive Church Training is scheduled at Brite Divinity School in Ft Worth TX May 20-21.
These trainings are for those who want to see their congregation increase welcome and become Open & Affirming and those who want to be prepared to help other congregations increase their welcome of all.
Trainers will be Rev. Debra Peevey, Disciples Pastor, and Rev. Dr. Mark Johnston, Executive Directory of GLAD’s Open & Affirming Ministry Program.
Do you live in anywhere near Fort Worth? Oklahoma? Arkansas? Louisiana?

You can help us build an inclusive church! How, you ask? (I knew you’d ask!)
A church doesn’t have to be “ready” to become Open & Affirming to benefit from the Building an Inclusive Church Training. Is there a church you know – perhaps your own church – that’s open to increasing welcome?
- Call people you know and encourage them to attend the Building an Inclusive Church Training.
- Call pastors you know and share with them about these trainings.
