Today, on Trans Day of Visibility, AllianceQ proclaims a sacred truth: A people made in God’s image cannot be erased!
We remember the Ethiopian Eunuch (Acts 8), a person who was gender nonconforming, denied access to the temple, yet knew their worth in the eyes of God. With boldness, they asked Philip, “What prevents me from being baptized?”—a question that echoes through time. The answer is clear: Nothing. No law, no prejudice, no exclusion can separate God’s beloved from the divine embrace.
To our trans siblings: You are HERE. You are GOD’S. And YOU CANNOT BE ERASED.
It is our prayer that we all move forward in radical love. That those of us who do not identify as trans would open our hearts to learn and witness the beauty of trans experience—without placing the burden of education solely on those living it.
Let love lead. Let equity flow. And may the grace of God, which surpasses all human understanding, rest, rule, and abide in us all.
