Campus Pride - Creating Safe Space for Youth
Do you know a young person headed to college this year? Do you know a college student who is LGBTQ or ally and seeks to be a leader in creating safe space free of prejudice, bigotry and hate?
Check out the Campus Pride website for a wealth of information to empower young people.
Campus Pride serves LGBTQ and ally student leaders and campus organizations in the areas of leadership development, support programs and services to create safer, more inclusive LGBTQ-friendly colleges and universities. It exists to develop, support and give “voice and action” in building future LGBTQ and ally student leaders.
Campus Pride envisions campuses and a society free of anti-LGBTQ prejudice, bigotry, and hate and works to develop student leaders, campus networks, and future actions to create such positive change.
Coming soon will be the Campus Pride Lil’ Purple Backpak 2015-2016. Published every year, the Lil’ Purple Backpack is full of student organizing and social justice tips and tricks, how-to’s and action guides.
Be sure to check their website for it’s release early this fall.
