“The Downtown Disciples: Progressive Faith Community Singers are preparing a Spirit filled LGBTQ+Affirming #BlackLivesMatter worship experience for General Assembly Attendees, featuring powerful preaching by Justo González and bilingual music by RJ Hernandez, Rich Salas, Victor M Lara Gracida and the Guitarras. Downtown Disciples is a four year old New Church Start of the DOC in Downtown Des Moines. Come worship with us at 9am or 11am. Sunday July 21. Brunch will be available for purchase. Downtown Disciples worship space is conveniently located Downtown in the skywalk system, so you can easily walk to worship from your hotel or the convention center.
