Is NBA XPLOR Right for a Young Adult in Your Life?

The National Benevolent Association’s XPLOR is a 10-month Residency for young adults exploring the intersections between the life of faith and the work of justice. Now in its third year, the program provides professional development and vocational discernment opportunities for 21- to 30-year-olds who live simply in community and engage in direct service and justice work. NBA XPLOR Residents serve with host communities across the country – rich collaborations between Disciples regions, congregations, spiritual companions, and local nonprofits serving together.

The NBA is committed to a solid foundation of diversity as a major component of intentional community living and fully welcomes XPLOR applications from LGBT young adults. Ongoing anti-racism, cross-cultural communication, and anti-oppression training are integral components of NBA XPLOR.

Applications for the 2017-18 NBA XPLOR Residency are now available online. Learn more and apply for the next Residency at www.nbacares.org/xplor.
